Barbie=World Peace

(I felt that pink really completed the look)

I am not one of those college students who watches cartoons all day. In fact cartoons just get on my nerves…at least the ones made today. I am, however, a fan of the Barbie films. I say “film” instead of “movie” because I feel that Mattel deserves a more professional word for what they do. There are some days where my sister and I (who is older than me) get so excited about watching Barbie play the starring role in some of childhood’s most treasured and magical stories. Every once in a while they’ll come out with musicals which are even better than the non-musicals…what a delightful surprise Mattel!

I have come to realize the following:

Barbie Wallpaper?!?

Barbie films teach valuable lessons and values to the viewers. If only more people in the world watched them all (especially the enlightening musicals such as “The Princess and The Pauper”), our world would be a little closer to universal peace. The stars would be closer to alignment and the Gods would smile upon us. Okay the last statement was a little exaggerated (like most of my entries…), but hopefully you get the general idea. If I had the opportunity to meet with World Leaders and show them Barbie films, I would and they would be forever changed…if not for the better then for the worst. The villains have some great ideas too.

I even learned something from this picture I found. It teaches you that if you’re a swan and you fall in love with a human being, well, it can only end badly. He’s not taking a nap. He’s dead. A lesson learned too late for them unfortunately.

So I end this pathetic excuse for an entry with some advice.

If you aren’t feeling well and you need a pick-me-up, don’t do drugs. Watch a Barbie film and then sing with the animals and feed the poor.

…And pass the love (and Barbie films) around…
